San Francisco Area Membership (S.A.M.)

Ask at the front desk for more details. The San Francisco Area members
can use any branch in the San Francisco Association area. These
branches include all San Francisco YMCAs, Marin YMCA
and Peninsula Family YMCA in San Mateo. San Francisco area members
pay facility member rates for all programs at all San Francisco
Association branches.
Bay Area Membership (B.A.M.)
Individual:
Joining Fee= $99, Monthly Draft= $76

Joining Fee= $99, Monthly Draft= $126
Ask at Membership Services desk for details. Bay Area members may use any
branch in the greater Bay Area. Current members can convert (original
joining fee applies toward Bay Area joining fee). Bay Area members
pay facility member rates for all programs at all branches.

Day/Guest Passes
Day passes are available for guests of facility members, members of other YMCAs and the general public. The guest must have a valid picture ID. Guest must be 18 years or older to sign the mandatory release of liability. Any guest under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests age 14-18, in lieu of a parent or guardian, may have the release of liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Facility Members receive FIVE FREE GUEST PASSES annually. Member must accompany guest. Members may bring in additional guests for the following day-use fees:
Adult guest of member:
$15.00 for all-day access to the facility
17 and under guest of member:
$6.00 for all hours. Guest must have liability form signed by parent or legal guardian. Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Member of another YMCA:
$3.00 all hours
Locker Rental $6.00 a month
Replacement of lost Membership Card $5.00

PAYMENT PLANS
ANNUAL PAYMENT (equals 12 monthly payments) payable by cash, check,
Visa or Mastercard. All returned checks and drafts will be subject
to $15 service fee.
MONTHLY PAYMENT OPTIONS (automatic computerized monthly payments):
1. Automatic Bank Draft: authorizes the YMCA to draft a checking
account on an ongoing basis. Thirty (30) days written notice is
required for cancellation.
2. Automatic Credit Card Draft: same as above, but uses Visa or
Mastercard for payment.
*Program Membership Fee $50
A Program Membership allows individuals to join programs independent from Facility Membership; it is renewable annually; the individual program costs are also applied; and it does not give the Program Member access to Facility Membership resources.

CHILD WATCH PROGRAM
For the convenience of parents participating in our YMCA programs, babysitting services are available for children ages 8 weeks through 10 years. Parent must be on the
premises. The maximum hours of service per day: 1-1/2 hours for children 8 weeks through 14 months old, 2 hours for children 15 months and older.

Child Watch Hours
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Child Watch is closed on most holidays. Please check our branch brochure for
upcoming closures.
Staff-Child Ratio
We maintain a 1:4 ratio for children over 18 months. Our infant ratio is 1:1. Child Watch capacity varies according to the needs of the room. Parents with special needs must talk to Emily Formosa (415) 242-7145 prior to using the program.
Child Watch Fees (payble at Membership Services desk)
Monthly Payment:
$40 per month for one child
$50 per month for two children
$5 per month for each additional child
Hourly Payment:
$3 per half hour/per child
Punch Card:
For your convenience, a $60 punch card can be purchased that allows 20 half-hour increments.

Reservations
In order to provide a safe, caring environment, we accept children on a
first-come, first-served basis for children over 15 months old. Reservations are
REQUIRED for infants 12 weeks to 15 months. Reservations are taken up to one-day notice prior to reservation. We require a courtesy call for cancellations.

Cancellations
For members not providing a one-hour notice of cancellation, or for those who do not show up as scheduled, a penalty fee will be assessed (see Parent Handbook). Fee must be paid in Child Watch prior to making future reservations.

MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
The Stonestown Family YMCA supports, to the best of its resources, the intent and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible throughout the entire building. Our Family/Handicapped Locker Room is located on the first floor and leads to our indoor pool, which includes a lift.
A.W.A.Y. (Always Welcome At YMCA) Policy
Our traveling members use any of over 2,500 YMCAs in the world either free or for a nominal daily rate. Outside the San Francisco Association, many branches allow free use for fellow YMCA members. Check with the branch you wish to visit.
Check-in Policy
All members, guests, or class participants must check in at the Membership Services desk before using the fitness facilities. Members must present their membership cards at check-in time.
Emergency Evacuations
On a recurring basis throughout the year, we will be implementing fire drills and emergency evacuations of our building. Members are expected to cease activity immediately and leave through the nearest exit or as directed by staff.
