This Page:Teen Center Youth & Government -------------------------------------------------------------------------- TEEN Center is now open! Are your teens looking for resources about college, jobs, life? Do they need a safe and fun place to go after school? Our Stonestown Family YMCA has opened a new "Teen Scene" Teen Center. We are in the process of organizing and implementing new teen programs run for and by the teens. From dance workshops to carreer-building skills, from gardening to fitness -- we have it all! If your teen is interested in being on a YMCA youth committee and making changes within the community, why not take advantage of our teen workshops? Come hang out and make new friends in a fun atmosphere! Daily Drop-in from 2pm -7pm 3150 20th Avenue Youth & Government Our celebrated Youth & Government program for 9th-12th graders will being September 24th! From September to February 2, 300 high school youth have the opportunity for a hands-on experience to write bills, prepare briefs, select governmental positions to role-play, and attend training conferences at Camp Roberts in Paso Robles. Youth from 150 communities across the state meet in Sacramento at the State Capitol each February for five days, with access to historic halls and chambers of our State Capitol and Supreme Court. Youth & Government is fun and educational, come and join us! Fees Facility Member: $700 Program Member: $800
